Why this Exhaust System

This isn’t just another loud X3M or X4M exhaust.

The VANTA GOLD™ was engineered around sound quality and flow behavior — not simply increasing volume.

Unlike the G8X platform, the longer exhaust path and different underbody architecture of the X3M and X4M required a completely different approach to pipe diameter, resonance control, and rear-section design.

The system utilizes a full dual 3-inch architecture, increasing the main exhaust diameter from the factory approximately 2.75-inch layout. This larger cross-section reduces restriction and provides significantly greater flow capacity for both factory-power vehicles and higher-output S58 builds.

At the center of the system is the proprietary AURUM FLOW CORE™.

Unlike a traditional fabricated X-pipe, its advanced 3D-printed internal geometry progressively manages exhaust pulse interaction, pressure balance, and harmonic behavior between both banks as exhaust velocity increases.

The result is a system designed to hold the sound together as the S58 moves through the rev range.

One of the standout characteristics of the X3M/X4M system is the addition of dual dedicated resonators downstream of the AURUM FLOW CORE™.

Rather than simply quieting the exhaust, these resonators specifically target the lower-frequency resonance, air rattle, and harshness that can occur at low engine speeds. Working together with the Flow Core, they allow the exhaust to remain deep and composed down low while opening acoustically as RPM increases.

The rear section has also been completely redesigned.

Instead of terminating into a conventional large rear muffler, the VANTA GOLD™ axle-back incorporates a secondary X-pipe before the quad outlets. This creates another controlled interaction point between both exhaust paths, helping produce a smoother, more unified exhaust note from all four outlets.

The signature gold heat-resistant coated AURUM FLOW CORE™ provides additional thermal protection while giving the system its unmistakable VANTA GOLD™ visual identity.

OEM valve integration remains fully functional, allowing the vehicle to retain comfortable cruising manners with the valves closed while delivering the full dual 3-inch VANTA GOLD™ character when opened.
