Why this Controller

On the G8X platform, exhaust valve behavior is more restricted than most expect.

• Comfort → ~0–10% open (mostly closed)
• Normal driving → ~0–30% open
• Sport / Sport Plus → ~30–50% open (still fluctuating)
• Full throttle → ~70–80% open (never truly 100%)

Even at wide open throttle, the valves don’t stay fully open — and immediately close once load drops.

This controller overrides that completely.

With the new V2 software update, you now get expanded control beyond basic open/close modes, giving you real flexibility depending on how you want the car to sound.

• 0% Closed → Maximum quiet for controlled driving
• 25% Open → Subtle increase in tone
• 50% Open → Balanced daily driving setup
• 75% Open → Aggressive without going full open
