Looking to unlock a more aggressive exhaust note from your S63R?
The factory secondary downpipes restrict exhaust flow and limit the sound of your twin-turbo V8.
The MAD Secondary Downpipes replace the factory secondary catalytic converter sections with free-flowing stainless steel piping, allowing your F90 M5 or F9X M8 to produce a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note while retaining the factory primary downpipes.
More sound. Better airflow. No check engine light.
⸻
Why These Downpipes
MAD designed these secondary downpipes for enthusiasts who want increased exhaust volume and improved airflow without the added complexity of replacing their primary downpipes.
Featuring smooth mandrel-bent stainless steel piping, these downpipes reduce exhaust restrictions while delivering a more pronounced V8 exhaust note.
Because the factory primary catalytic converters remain in place, MAD advertises these secondary downpipes as a no-CEL upgrade. The integrated flex sections help reduce stress and unwanted vibration, while the optimized piping is designed to minimize unwanted drone.
MAD also advertises power gains of up to 30 HP on stock turbos, with additional potential on upgraded turbo setups. Actual gains depend on the vehicle's configuration and tuning.
