Why the Öhlins Road & Track Kit

The Öhlins Road & Track system is designed for drivers who want a significant improvement in chassis performance without turning their G8X into a dedicated track car.

Öhlins' DFV technology allows the dampers to react quickly to both major and minor road imperfections, helping the tires maintain contact with the road surface while improving chassis control.

Each damper features a 25-click adjustment range controlling compression and rebound characteristics. Turn the adjustment toward a firmer setting for increased control on track, then dial the suspension back for a more compliant setup on the street.

The dampers also feature separate spring preload and damper length adjustment, allowing ride height to be changed without relying solely on spring preload.

Dual Flow Valve Technology

Öhlins' Dual Flow Valve technology is what separates the Road & Track system from a conventional coilover setup.

DFV allows the dampers to react quickly to changes in the road surface during both compression and rebound. This helps the suspension absorb bumps and imperfections while maintaining the chassis control needed during aggressive driving.

Height Adjustment

The Öhlins Road & Track system provides individual ride-height adjustment front and rear, allowing you to dial in both stance and suspension setup.

• Front Lowering: Approximately 0.2"–1.2" (5–30 mm)
• Rear Lowering: Approximately 0.2"–1.4" (5–35 mm)

Separate spring preload and damper length adjustment allow the suspension to be properly set up while adjusting the vehicle's ride height.

Unlike a fixed lowering spring, the final ride height can be individually adjusted within the available range to achieve the stance and fitment you're looking for.
